Acadia National Park, October 2007

Another awesome workshop with Tony Sweet and Susan Milestone. Their support and direction led us to many great venues at this spectacular national park. People have been drawn to the rugged coast of Maine throughout history. Awed by its beauty and diversity, early 20th-century visionaries donated the land that became Acadia National Park. The park is home to many plants and animals, and the tallest mountain on the U.S. Atlantic coast. Today, visitors come to Acadia to hike granite peaks, bike historic carriage roads, or relax and enjoy the scenery.

Bronx Zoo Sept 2007

An early morning visit to the Bronx Zoo is always an adventure. I was lucky to get a few good shots of the animals who sometimes don't exactly stop and pose for our cameras. Obviously, this is a place you can return to numerous times and always have a different experience.
